        It’s a damn good shot, what can I say!

        There can be more to nude selfies than just “I am pretty and/or horny and/or naked.”

        I’ve… dated an amateur/relatively small-time model once or twice.

        There’s more than just lust to be found in the female form, there can be more complex beauty, ‘erotic art’ as opposed to ‘porn’.

        (and for the record no, I was not the photographer, no creepy nonsense going on)

          idk I believe I have some sense of style but when it comes to arouse someone it depends so much on tastes and sensitivity. I’m pretty sure I could just take any random shot there will be someone to like it around. Also there are some very stunning pics playing on erotic art on Lemmy and they don’t have that much success 🤷

          Core question being : why we do what we do? What do we want to express? In my case I just enjoy myself and sharing to make other people enjoy too. Aesthetics is not the point but I appreciate your feedback anyway

            I’m also going to just chime in and say I that I agree from an aesthetic standpoint that this is a phenomenal shot. The lighting and framing are absolutely perfect and the contrast of your skin tone, spacing and tattoos actually are accentuated extremely well with the shot, all while still showing yourself off as a sexual being. Like, quite literally, this could be chiseled in marble and studied lol.

            The best forms of art are able to evolve multiple emotions(if any). This will get the gooners and the intellectuals off 😁

            Oh, I agree with you completely on all your points.

            My guess as to why the erotic art pics on Lemmy don’t get as much feedback is that… they’re reposts, no potential to engage with the artist, as I am here with you.

            But, maybe you’re talking about a comm I’m not aware of?

            Either way… its interesting that I basically say “I like your style, sense of style, and body,” and … you say aesthetics is not the point, the point is mutual enjoyment.

            … but I enjoy aesthetics. People’s body forms snd shapes… basically are, or are an element of their aesthetics, nearly fundamentally. Many people enjoy all kinds of art or images or videos or whatever, largely or entirely based on aesthetic appreciation.

            Is there some other kind of enjoyment you derive from, and hope others enjoy from these images?

            I suppose you don’t have to answer that if you don’t want to, I guess you could say one of my kinks is overanalyzing things, hah.
