According to someone else who replied to my comment, it seems it’s some sort of metadata issue rather than an actual rebrand. I’m just an idiot who doesn’t actually look deep enough into this kinda stuff.

Oh… Well, too late for me. Ended up uninstalling it and replacing it with thunderbird because I thought they were rebranding it to thunderbird beta.
Not gonna lie, I was super confused why F-Droid was updating thunderbird beta on my device when I was updating apps a few days ago. Took me a while to realize k9 was apparently changed to thunderbird beta.
Aaaaand your ISP has already begun forcibly speeding up your service to make it look better in 3… 2… 1…
No doubt the second they figure this out a large amount of the scummy ISPs around the world are gonna start reverse speed throttling, per usual, to make themselves look better.
Similar way is how I ended up finding out about Mindustry. Found it on F-Droid and liked it enough to buy it on Steam when I found out it’s available there. Definitely a good idea if done right.
I don’t use it much since I’ve already got it active on the apps I wanted it for, but on Samsung’s Galaxy Store there is an app I’ve never found an alternative to anywhere from my limited searching: Sound Assistant.
On desktop/laptop, turning off individual app/program sounds is super easy, but this is literally the only app I’ve ever seen that allows you to turn off the sound for individual apps on android. Don’t know if other versions of android from other brands or android 14 has that feature natively, but it’s a feature I wish was native to all versions of android regardless of which large brand has made their own alterations to android.
A minor problem, though, as I assume most people probably don’t give a rats ass about this.
I would just love it if I had the bus routes for my city readily available in open street maps, like how goog|e maps does it. I think goog|e maps might be my answer to the question if I can’t find anything worse.
It took me some time to get used to auxio after switching from rocket music player, but I’ve come to really enjoy auxio. Would recommend, unless you want smart playlists.
My biggest gripe with Odysee is the fact a lot of the people I like to watch aren’t on there. Otherwise, if they’d just set up an account and have it linked to their yt account, I’d be on there a lot more.
I know this is a joke, but I totally wanna run the code and see what happens or what errors I get just for fun.
I swear I have selective male blindness because I found it in the package manager for my distro after doing a quick search command.
Just give it a few more days before their Forejo and website are taken down. I honestly didn’t think they could be more aggressive than they already are, but recently they’ve proved me dead wrong.

For the past week and a half of a networking fundamentals class I just finished Tuesday, we were learning the basics of Wireshark. So far the biggest problem I’ve found with it is that I couldn’t find a version for Linux so I could use it on my laptop (couldn’t get it to work on wine either).
Not sure if this is directly aimed at us but, I don’t know much about different desktop environments (with this being the maybe 2nd or 3rd one I’ve used), but I l just like plasma because it looks good without much tweaking. I’m still learning Linux, so I just want something that looks good out of the box.
Okay, how would sintendo know if some of the original Yuzu devs are working on it if there is no trail leading back to them? If I were a Yuzu dev, I’d just start a new account and get right back to work on a fork that is gaining traction just to spite those subhumans working for a legal dictatorship.
While looking it up, I’m pretty sure I read that Kool Desktop Environment was changed to K Desktop Environment. Either way, it’s absolutely Konfusing regardless of how you slice it.
Not gonna lie, took me a moment of thinking and waiting for a search engine to load before I realized Kool Desktop Environment is just KDE…
My dad joined that club a while ago. His work was getting rid of a Brother printer and he snagged it. We don’t do much printing around here, but from the praise I hear people give it, it’s a good snag.
Media files are proprietary and it’s under the zlib license if that disqualifies anything, but for a somewhat decent experience, there is H-Craft Championship. Not the greatest of games considering it’s a game that originally released in 2007 as a commercial game available for Linux (don’t know about other platforms outside of the 2015 open source(?) release) by some seemingly random independent studio (Irrgheist), but fun enough I guess.
