Definitely! I work at a computer 8-10 hours per day, 5 days a week. The last thing I want to do when I’m done working is sit at computer some more. I do almost all of my browsing on my phone. Firefox Mobile Nightly, plus NextDNS, plus Nord VPN, plus uBlock origin, plus a fake user agent string. I’m pretty secure on my phone.
“Here’s a website that you needed to install on your phone to see!”
I’m out of the loop. What happened? Did someone decompile their code and find definitive proof of a throttle for Firefox?
Also pushing pop-ups everywhere, except this time they’re part of the site and we can’t easily block them.
Right? Oh, you need 5 hours worth of work done 1 hour before the end of the day on Friday? It sounds like you should have planned better. Have a nice weekend!
Old registry entries definitely slowed Windows down all the way up to Windows 7. I’m not sure if they fixed it with 8 or 10, but I don’t think so since 10 slows considerably after just a few months.
I have one purely for a spam email address that I rarely check. I just needed to get off of big brother Google’s platforms and I wanted something easy to say and type.
$12?!?! When was this meme made?
“Buy our ink now or we’ll kidnap your baby”
Ah, little Bobby Drop Tables.
Isn’t all hosting containerized at this point?
No. Not even close.
PHP is a server-side language, how do you plan to use it for the front-end? Good luck with that!
You don’t need a framework for PHP. That’s the beauty of it, you don’t need anything. You cannot build a website with Python without a framework.
Must be some sort of communiss.
Hey now! PHP may be old and a bit clunky, but it gets shit done. I’d say PHP is the Colt repeating rifle, since PHP won the internet and the Colt won the West. Much like the Colt, there are better tools available today, but if you want stuff done reliably and quickly, PHP and the Colt are good choices.
It is with great pride that we present you with the Patriot Children initiative. It provides funding for schools to have fireworks shows on July 4th.
*^(It also extends the Patriot Act for 900 years, makes it legal for corporations to own slaves, and revokes the 4th amendment.)
12,627 blocked attempts for me in the last 7 days. The worst offenders are MLB app, and Sync. At least I’m using Sync. I haven’t opened the MLB app in over a week, but it has still tried to report personal information about me up to 762 times per day.
I mean, the companies that charge us are stealing our personal data too.
If you’re a senior engineer, then you should have a team of juniors doing most of the coding. Your job is to architect, peer review, meet with stakeholders, etc… At least that has been my experience. Unless you are on one of those small teams with all senior engineers and then you have to do all of the above, and the coding too. I’ve had that experience as well.
