Yeah, afaik, you just need to install letsencrpyt
and then run the command with sudo. It’ll scan your apache conf and generate you an ssl version. Just make sure to include your domain name in the ServerName directive

It’s not self hosted but I use Tutanota. I have my own domain anything that comes to that domain shows up in my box. It might be better than the alternatives because it’s an encrypted mail service.
I’ve known about it since 2019. One of my professors at uni specifically pointed this out.
