It had a verified version on flathub
Which clients do you recommend for IOS?
How it works: I don’t know about this service in particular, but usually the shared contains the encryption key so like this: example.com/files/file_id/encryption_key or something similar
As for trust: This appears to be a individual, so you will have to just trust it when using the public instance. However, since it is FOSS, you can audit the code and spin up your own instance
Privacy wise it very much is still Firefox with different defaults (telemetry disabled, do not track enabled), the changes to upstream are mainly the UI and some performance enhancements
If you look at the description you can see that they clearly say that it isn’t official:
NOTE: This is an unofficial and experimental Flatpak build based on Android Translation Layer. Please report bugs to the ATL bug tracker instead of the NewPipe bug tracker https://gitlab.com/android_translation_layer/android_translation_layer/-/issues.
Don’t know why they’d put “Developer of the Newpipe app” as dev though
Linux ISOs obviously./s
On a more serious note: if you are downloading public movies or similar from the internet archive a download manager really helps.
Looks good, but too bad it’s not on flathub but that’s to be expected if the Linux version is still in beta. I’ll stick to Varia until then.
According to their GitHub the art is BSD licensed and the rest GPL
This is not an engine, this is the freedoom equivalent for quake. You will need a quake engine like QuakeSpasmSpiked and then follow the how to play instructions.
All of the Quake data files remain copyrighted and licensed under the original terms, so you cannot redistribute data from the original game, but if you do a true total conversion, you can create a standalone game based on this code.
As I understand it the engine is Foss but the assets aren’t, like the doom engine vs the doom wad.
Sadly only for US and UK, or am I missing something?
Is this your app? If yes then sure, it’s your app you can do whatever you want with it. If you are still morally troubled then just offer a free apk for those who don’t want to pay but also don’t want fdroid (for whatever reason there is, I don’t know of any).
For songs with metadata I recommend ytmdl
I don’t moderate any Lemmy communities, but generally I like having a strike system so that not everything gets you band. For example using a not allowed word (swearword, nsfw, etc) deletes the post and adds a strike to the user, automated message with number of strikes to the user, and after repeated actions a ban.
I think there is no android auto due no play services
The problem with web apps is that even if the messenger is perfectly secure your web browser/webview provider might not be. Like with windows recall, even if you have the most secure messenger it doesn’t matter if an underlying function scans your info. This doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be the option for a webapp, but it shouldn’t be the default.
ISH uses a x86 emulator to run alpine Linux as a terminal. I personally prefer A-shell (mini) as it is more performant
Thanks I’ll check it out
Which Linux version are you using? Tenacity is not in my distros repos and the Flatpak crashes every time I change the pitch of a audio clip
Does this work like SillyTavern or what is the idea? Does it support SillyTavern Characters?
