It’s gonna be emacs. You know it, we all fear it, but it’s gonna be emacs and some visicalc-mode shit.

Careful. The yaml cult will come after you in a long and formless column, and only self destruct when one of them is a step too far to the left.
Lenovo: you’re okay with sharing secrets with China.
Network Operations Field Tech. They climb the ladders and debug the cameras. Absolutely toughbook.
It’s okay to still use a hyphen between ‘load’ and ‘balancing’. As a bonus, what you write would then be English, too.
Is that the same as prosody.im ?
That’s the one I’ve been looking at. It seems to be easy, but I haven’t had time to look into it fully.

Yeah, honestly, kinda fuck off a bit.
Can we invoke it like gif pull
?
Seems to be container-dependent. I did too much security for that. Thanks, though.
pipeline schedules
Ah. Cron but from inside the garden. Okay.
No need to talk about containers. Having worked security (and build/rel) they present no net value.
I can clone external repos on a schedule
Some cron deal?
Woodpecker CI.
Fucking YAML. Nope.
Thought this was abandoned?
We can’t answer this question as written. Only you can confirm what you were thinking.
GitLab which I don’t use anymore self-hosted
This. Gitlab swapped out the performant webeditor for a VCS clone that runs like a fucking dog all.the.time, and they’re in a phase where they just can’t control their memory consumption while they focus on whole-sale vendoring of shit projects inside the code – they’re actually considering bringing in pulp as if they can figure out 20 kind of artifact storage but RPMs are a special snowflake requiring the worst bloated pig of an add-on ever.
I need gitlab to get better as I really like their CI specification and how not-fucking-YAML it is.
Flatpaks are a cancer. Got anything else?
I’m running ZFS at two jobs and my homelab.
Terabytes and terabytes. Usually presented to the hypervisor as a lun and managed on the VM itself.
I don’t run proxmox, though. Some ldoms, some esx, soon oVirt.
In 5 steps it violates ISO27002 3 times.
I’d say any setup result is purely accidental on the way to something far more exciting.
I’d look over the server install if the process had docs.
I looked at matrix but the server setup was janky – enamoured of the current mayfly shine tools, and when I saw mumble install cleanly on my tiny arm box it was a sea change. No longer have the tiny arm box but I still run mumble.
I’d be super happy if it and its polite codecs were brought into the fed but I haven’t been paying attention.
I’m using RCS for a particular project. It’s the best fit for the project.
