Freedom is a synthetic enterprise, not a natural gift
It’s still in alpha, so maybe, I guess you could open an issue and ask about it, maybe even help. 😁
I think another difference is that Movary has some more social features, web sites to track the media you consume often allow you to follow people with the same tastes, see how other people rated things, have recommendations, stats, etc.
Is there a public deployment of it?

Here seems to be a recent PR of someone trying to help out with this, maybe you can give a hand? Seems you understand a bit about the topic.
Well, suppossedly what they would offer doesn’t seem to change things much:
Future Pricing Plans
We have a few product ideas we have experimented with that would be paid add-ons to the current service: collaborative tools, AI integration, translation tools, and premium text to speech voices. Of these features, the premium text to speech voices are the only one that are currently available in the app, as part of our “ultra realistic voices” beta.
Really cool, would you ever consider contributing to their extension and adding that feature to theirs?
It seems there was an issue with some of the things needed for the extension to be on the store, they already sent the fix to Mozilla and are waiting for them to response, this happened on Friday so most likely they will reply this week.
I’d say it is open source but it is not libre software.
Hey, honestly, yeah, it has all of this and it looks good. Sadly it is Electron, which sucks since there’s a Windows version that uses C+. I think I’m still going to use this since it seems the best option.
Yes, I know it is Lollypop and I already removed some stuff from the bar on the left clicking on tje three dots. My main issue is some clunkiness in other parts. Thanks though!
That, you put the ISBN and it gives you author, publisher and date data. I use it as a “librarian” in Bookwyrm/OpenLibrary.
Disculpame mientras voy a tenedorear un hispanoablante.
I disagree, of course you can’t learn just using Duolingo, but it is like saying X textbook doesn’t teach you anything because you are only using that. Learning a language is a process that never ends and that requires a lot of different processes, maybe Duolingo doesn’t have absolutely all of them but if you finish a tree of the main languages and some other digging around you will have learnt quite a lot.
Tambien Slide, que era bastante conocida y piola. Todas esas son de software libre o algunas son privativas? Una mierda si lo son pero igual copado porque significa que desarrolladores de aplicaciones asi medio conocidas se estan mandando para aca.
Which they could get with no trouble if they wouldnt pay their CEO absurds ammounts. They need to be a cooperative.
Isn’t it a bad thing?
All those are ways of calling string in C? Why are there so many?
I’ve read through the license and although it is weird as hell it allows everything except the commercial use, at least that was my understanding since I don’t know Legalese very well.
It’s not released yet.
Hey, it also has more features which was something I was looking for, too. Sadly it’s proprietary, but well, it’s better at least and it doesn’t have such a strange name like this one.
