I reccommend debian headless and docker compose. Set up ssh but i would only open ssh to the internet if your using certificate authenticarion. Chatgpt will be able to help you with most of this except installing docker just copy paste install commands from the docker docs

Never seen this before but its a masterpiece. I think it missed the engineer who solves an engineering problem an engineering way making all sorts of assumptions and ignoreing all sorts of things that make the mathematicions, physisists, and computer scientists scream in terror. Also prefers to copy paste a section of code cos it represnts a different physical proccess despite being itentical and might need to be changed in future.
