Great, that should be plenty! Smart to restrict, federation indeed results in a ton of traffic :D

How much RAM do you have available? Do you have an unlimited internet connection?

I got off CloudFlare by using Pangolin. Ideal for my use-case, I didn’t use any of CF’s advanced features, so Pangolin is the ideal replacement for me.
Publicly serves everything from static sites to forgejo (+the ssh endpoint for git pushes).
indeed enjoying it muchly! Coming from (paid) symfonium, but not missing anything as Tempus is nearly as beautiful. Can’t say it’s lacking any features that I need, so yea, very happy with it.
Only downside, if any, is since its foss, it’ll end up costing me more through donations than the one-time Symfonium payment 🤣
audiobookshelf for audiobooks specifically, with Lissen as the android client.
For music, Navidrome with Tempus as android client and Feishin as desktop client, all scrobbling to ListenBrainz.

wow didn’t know dockge could do that!

I can recommend Arcane as a front end. I switched over all my services this last week from multiple dockges to a single arcane (+agents). It’s looking pretty sweet now. Cleans up a lot of bookmarks too 😆
Sure, I’m assuming the project has a stable version and a warning or archived banner clearly advertised 😉
oh absolutely. I only meant in case it’s physically too much for the repo owner.
There’s no need to feel obligated to carry on to one’s own detriment. The community knows how to move on with it, e.g. ownership transfer or a fork.
Any JellyGlance users here? Is it worth it? This seems like it should be a jellyfin add-on, not a separate service. Still trying to see the real upside, so feel free to enlighten me.

One could also not feel obligated to address all requests and just let anyone fork the project.
Isn’t it a bit about the ego to keep running the project while it’s too much to handle?
whoo look at that dashboard!!
Great suggestion, will try it out today, thanks!!
Big beets fan here. Only thing I don’t like, other than the odd album missing from their index, is the weak genre naming. I acknowledge this is murky territory, I’m wondering how other users handle the genres.
Whenever I have to sift through a big collection, Feishin is no longer the right tool. In that case I use Quod Libet with the 3 panes layout. Resembles Musicbee/MediaMonkey pretty well, while being very fast!
OP: Don’t forget to have some fun with your collection: Mixxx - mixing and looping, so much fun!

wow super, I’m more familiar with NPM so that would be great. Thanks for the update!!
hmmm tips, not sure. You have beets already, that’s the main tip :)
I have it reformatting filenames, storing it in the proper paths, retrieve albumart, and that’s about it I reckon. In case I forgot anyting, I’ll update this message when home.
As for unrecognized albums… That’s tough, I have a bunch of them too. I weighed storing them in the regular folders versus in a separate unrecognized/ folder. Went with the latter approach. I rescan that folder every month, sometimes new matches appear. That unrecognized folder is also shared to navidrome, so except for some missing album art and perhaps improper file/song names, not really an issue.
JellyCrowd looks awesome. Anyone here set that up yet? How was your experience?
