If I press the brake, it should brake. ABS systems work well, but otherwise there should not be any logic built into not braking when I want to brake. Add all the automation into braking for me if there is an imminent collision detected. Extra braking is good. Less braking than I have asked for is bad.
What about regenerative braking? How do you configure it to prioritize regenerative braking while still allowing the brake pads to be used?
