i just use a email account from somewhere that supports email clients and set it up as a glorified mail client thats send only

Fail2ban crashing on 3 seperate days i tried setting it up then one day i did the exact same thing an it worked

I have no education i learned all through trial an error an google

I personally use a vps for this stuff but my setup is standalone nginx as a reverse proxy and fail2ban and ufw

It was a pretty huge learning curve but it was great learning to troubleshoot stuff i also set up oauth2-proxy and that was also a bit of learning curve but worth it in the end

Neovim so many plugins and customization you can look st chadvim or lazyvim plugins for it

I did try it out and its great! One issue i had is after logging in it says not found however

for the custom API i run navidrone i use aonsoku on my PC and it supports custom URL.

my issue is that search engine providers block my vps ip so im looking for the best option to get around this either vpn or proxy

no searxng functions as a proxy between the user an the search engine so if the search engine is blocking/rate limiting the searxng servers ip the only option is to use a proxy/vpn but the issue i run into with the vpn is i cant just install it because it will make ssh and the domain configuration not work so the only options are install the vpn inside of the docker container or if searxng has a config setting for it wich i need to look into still
