A couple seconds does it… I have 56 subscribed channels though, that’s not a lot, perhaps loading times scale with this number

on the minus side, it’s electron and it doesn’t have tabs, but it’s a rather minor inconvenience for me
Freetube on desktop works beautifully. They just added playlists too
There’s Trilium-Next too, I’ve been trying it for a day or so and it floats my boat better than logseq so far. My notebook is on QOwnNotes right now, it’s fantastic but on the simpler side
I tried LogSeq but found it clumsy to navigate. I am going to take a look at TriliumNext. Right now am using QOwnNotes which is simpler but I’m all for that. The issue to me is, it isn’t wysiwyg. There’s an editor panel AND a vizualisation panel, and that seems a bit redundant to me. Otherwise it’s fantastic
Lupus vorat agnum = my tailor is rich
there’s your rosetta stoned
My wife uses Flow or something to that effect. Should I advise her to change ? do the mainstream apps have privacy issues that Drip doesn’t ?
I see ! couldn’t development be done in a separate branch with no expectation of an immediate release ?
How would writing an entire program be faster than upgrading an already fully functioning one ? I don’t see the logic ?
Looks like passionate people working on open source projects are more reliable as watch dogs
I got into a rabbit hole and read the story of the SolarWinds attack. Even as a total layman, what a rollercoaster.
This has always bothered me, I suspect it’s the same underlying reason most video players can’t do reverse frame-by-frame. But Quicktime allowed it twenty years ago, so it’s possible. I suppose you’d have to actually decode the entire keyframe interval and use the resulting frames as new “baked-in” keyframes so to say. I suppose that’s more or less what djv and other frame checkers do under the hood. But I don’t know what I’m talking about so…
I’m okay with the idea of a piece of tech meant to do a single thing, do it well for hours on end on one charge, while not spying on me in creative ways
you’re saying that AI has hopes
oh… I thought we were the Bureau of Feline Investigation ?
Why specifically a driver ?
I did upvote… but my pants are pristine
and the Nobel goes to some nerd playing with electrons. Unbelievable
