games! in maybe 95% of cases you can find an open alternative to some (non-game) software, but with games it’s the opposite.
i would say that the main proprietary softwares i still use, are video games

after a very long time, i’ve stumbled upon this https://thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/penguin-usb-bluetooth-40-micro-adapter-tpe-usbbluv4

i love pixelorama, its really nice to use.
also if anyone is interested: i have a PXO plugin for bevy that i dont really maintain actively, but if someone asks i can update it for whatever the latest version of bevy is

for one, obsidian is closed source

did they open source it?

IIRC it’s not open source

i believe FUTO keyboard isn’t FOSS

that’s true, but what does it have to do with the post?

isn’t grayjay still proprietary?

awesome issue

i think it’s just humour, i assume it’s referring to rust’s lifetimes which is a feature (mostly) unique to rust

isn’t this one proprietary?

im not sure about the premium sync features, but syncthing works well

about the plugins, they are not (yet?) supported in mobile. might not be an issue if you are desktop-only, but thought i’d mention it.
