I bought a dutch sim card (no registration) and a used android phone thats not linked to me to activate it. Then I made an whatsapp account with that number and I am only accessing it via whatsapp web on my graphene OS phone on a special profile with no acceas to my contacts. That profile also uses a dutch mullvad vpn server thats always on.
I am not dutch and don’t live in the Netherlands.
/dev/null
I’d go ahead and contact Dwight Schrute, he seems to be the expert on beets.
CMR!
Do not buy SMR drives!
You used it for what?!? Why tge heck would you let your kids watch cartoons in school?
250 W including all Network equipment, PoE Access Points and PoE cameras.
I don’t pay a dime for my energy though because I have an 18kWp solar array and a 20kwh home battery.
tv headend is what you’re looking for.
Stock Asus or Merlin?
Small former Gemeinschaftsanntenne in my town and surrounding villages, I don’t wanna dox myself so can’t tell you the name. They probably have anywhere between 10-20k customers only. But afaik they are just one of many IPv4 only ISPs in Switzerland.
Switzerland, we have the best and worst of both worlds. 25GBit Fiber home connections for less than 100 USD per month and ISPs that only support IPv4.
Same here, my ISP is IPv4 only so I have it disabled on my router.
Pretty happy woth TrueNAS, actually came from Synology and bought a UGreen DXP4800Plus, didn’t like the UGOS on it and pretty much immediately switched tp TrueNAS. It’s been absolutely flawless for about 15 months by now, docker integration in the OS is a bit limited by I run my compose stacks managed through dockge anyways.
I won’t let LLMs crawl my data, it’s mine and mine alone :)
Yep exactly. Also you can have other people (friends/family) have access via VPN, Tailscale, etc.
I do on my TrueNAS in a docker container. I have about 1TB of zim files hosted including pre-LLM copies of German, English and French Wikipedia as well as the last two current versions in these languages.
Aditionally I have project Gutenberg Books in german and english as well as lots of random technical, medical, survival, etc stuff that I came accross - a lot of that is trash though, but sorting is too time consuming and my NAS has 48TB so who cares…
Two untested backups are worse than one tested backup though.
I use uptime Kuma with signal-cli for notifications - it’s been rock solid. I also have another uptime kuma instance that uses email as notification option to monitor my primary uptime kuma and the signal-cli.
Are you aware of any other options or forks that work with jellyfin? There’s PseudoTV but it only works with Plex libraries.
No idea, I quit that rat-race job 4 years ago and haven’t used it since then. I am never gonna work a job that requires being online and available all the time ever agaib.
We used https://meetfranz.com/ at my previous job where we had tons of external clients with different messengers.
