I would love to not only share the people metadata but also all pictures where they are tagged.

Usecases: the grandparents always ask for pictures of their grandchildren. I do not want todo partner sharing with them, but I would be fine to automatically share all pictures that include their face. Bonus: only share pictures where a combination of people are tagged (e.g. grandparents+grandchildren)

Depending on the internet provider your fritzbox should be able to open an arbitrary port via PCP also on ipv4. This does not really help with standard web applications, but is useful for wireguard VPN.

I only use this really to get a free public ipv4. (Since not all clients support ipv6 only) Is there any other free/better way to get an ipv4?

Isn’t this similar to rathole or frp?

I am currently using Traefik with rathole to expose services which do not have a public available port. It seems netbird has a nice gui, but is not able Todo advanced reverse prox configs based on path, headers, etc…

An Idea I am also using for other things where I do not want to use a VPN:

1. Setup a reverse proxy (e.g. traefik)
2. Setup an oauth middleware for everything (forward Auth)
3. Create rules to exempt very specific request based on IP, headers, etc… from the middleware.

In the casting use case you have to find a request and check if there is any parameter that you can use to safely whitelist the request. Ofcourse someone could get behind this and fake the request to match the whitelist. But without knowing that there is even a whitelist no one will really try

The feature list sounds even better than adguard home. I might give this a try!

A big problem for me is, that Android is not allowing custom DoT servers. Even though the system supports DoH and is even using it for their built in resolver (Google/cloud flare) Networks that only whitelist TCP 433 (some guest wifis) will fail to use DoT.

I have Kodi running in a docker container with gui (even HDR support) on my otherwise “headless” server. Kodi just has the most flexibility because of it’s plugins.

I had an optiplex 3060 micro with 8500t, 24gb ram and 2 ssds idling around 3-5watts.

One of the few options that allow docker conf via labels. Will try it, currently using caddy.
