You mean it would have to also be…bigger data bitrate regardless of codec or… a higher position hierarchically in the quality list? As in, having to change the ‘quality’ from WebRIP-1080p to WebDL-1080p which somehow is one step further in the list? That would then trigger the custom format sections, ONLY? That would make shittier codecs but bigger files always win in this rating right?

Thanks! I’ve just uploaded a few screenshots in the thread.

Here’s a bunch of screenshots attached! I find interesting that if I use the parsing tool to test on a filename that’s getting a zero score in the error message, on the parsing tool it gets a 39, which should be plenty justified for a file upgrade.

I think so! I mean, it’s giving it a full zero. The other custom format in the profile has a 10, and that’s correctly applied.

Well, when I go to the downloads or the movies folder, I don’t like all my folders starting as www.releasepage.com your releases here [beginning of actual movie name get’s cut because it’s too long to show in the list]. It’s really not helpful. So I’d very much rather get it out. Or behind at least. Somewhere where it doesn’t block.

Thanks! I think I’ll do that.

I never said it was a bad thing. It’s… Quirky. And I appreciate it. I love how useful it is, and how reliant I’ve become on it. I started donating to this project recently.

Most people won’t agree with this but… Amazfit. About as closed as you can get. It has (depending on the model) about as many features as you might want. Mine, the GTR4, is circular and gives a decent watch effect with a dark watch face and a leather strap. It has GPS, can pair directly to Bluetooth earphones and has some internal storage you can use to upload your music so you can use it offline. No SIM/eSIM though.
Back to the closed part: You only need to install their app and pair it to theirs during the initial setup, once. Following Gadgetbridge’s clear instructions, you can then get the login token, pair with gadgetbridge instead and just uninstall the official app. It then becomes your trustworthy watch that never sends any data out, because it no longer uses the official app. Not just amazfit though, I’d suggest to go to their supported devices list (which is… Comprehensive by now), and carefully check if a device you are interested in is supported and to what degree. Gadgetbridge might look ugly but it’s 100% reliable and privacy friendly.

I’ll have to check on this one, never heard of it, and unbound has a tendency to randomly fail on me after a few months.
Have you had a chance to try it outside of Europe, perhaps while traveling? I just saw someone mentioning they might be region locked.
Thanks a lot. I’m not really sure what are the shipping times. I’m briefly in Europe, so this might be an option…if they’re quick to ship.
EDIT: After some checking in XDA, I think this model might not be supported for installing LOS. But I might be able to use it without root perhaps…I only need to change the launcher (and remap the home button to the new launcher maybe), disable updates and install f-droid. And the just install jellyfin.
Yeah that’s what i meant, one of those android dongles… But which one is good for it. And I wouldn’t be able to bring the server with me, as it has about 10Tb now between movies and TV shows.

Yeah… But I’d prefer it not to be my phone. It’s a bit quirky in desktop mode, too.
Is it called ONN in the UK too? Thanks!
Thanks…yeah that’s the one. I’m not sure where to source it from, either in Europe or in Asia.
Doesn’t this sound awfully similar to the Mini disc technology? The discs were only writable when heated by a laser. They were pretty impressive for the time… But not very fast. Especially when writing.
