Ah yeah, truly one of those slop-type programs.
I like music and computers.

No, the default API tooling that comes to my mind is curl.
Obligatory: https://justuse.org/curl/

You’re on a self hosting forum. I won’t let random services go wild on my network without being able to see the code.

How do I know that, if it’s not open source? Pinky promises?

Which one is it?

Why should I use this instead of Matrix? What is the sales pitch?

Great idea and lots of schools need something like this, but I don’t understand anything. The website renders completely broken, I can’t find the source code anywhere, there seems to be no git or something like that?

These are core features? For me core feature is channels, audio/video call and screen share and element can do all of that.

Whilst that’s one of the few things that bugs me with element, let’s not pretend that a lack of PTT or noise gate is the reason for everybody not switching to matrix.

Element supports all of discords core features.

And what does best mean? I think mu4e is the best. You might hate it.
How did you manage that? Opened SSH with no password?

Same. The setup was super easy.

Am I the only one who thinks jellyfin is not only superior to pure, but also way more intuitive to setup? I still don’t understand how plexs routing works, and why I need a central account in order to connect to my own server.

Emacs and org-mode.

I use it, sponsor it and love it.
I did though? I said this is a slop project.
