Doesn’t having an app for reminding about certain dates defeat the purpose of congratulating people about them? Isn’t the whole thing in it showing that they are so important to you that you remember them? Why would your friends want to complicate your routine with date checking step, if the process can be automated, how that’s different from sending you both a message from a bot?
